1. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for downloading the True Skies Timecycle v1.1 by The Truth '92. This modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will replace the default timecycle with a more realistic and life-like timecycle. Again, thanks for downloading!


2. PREREQUISITES

There are no prerequisites for this modification.


3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Navigate to your game's directory (usually C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas).

  2. Open the data folder in the main directory.

  3. Find the timecyc.dat file and rename it timecyc_backup.dat (or make a copy and paste it into your backup directory).

  4. Paste the new timecyc.dat AND timecyc.aaa file into the data folder (NOTE: if Windows asks you to overwrite the file, make sure you made a backup of the original; renaming the original as stated in step 3 will not generate an overwrite prompt).

    NOTE: To uninstall this modification, delete the modded timecyc.dat file, and rename your backup timecyc.dat (or paste your backup back into the data folder).

  5. In your main directory, make a backup of gta_sa.exe and replace it with the one provided. This step is necessary for SA:MP compatiblilty. If you choose not to replace your .exe, the timecycle will not work in SA:MP.

This modification was made using fastman92's In-Game Timecycle Editor. The timecycp.dat file, found in any clean, unmodified GTA:SA directory was used as the base timecycle upon which this modification was built. It was not built atop another modification by any other user, and can be rightfully distributed by myself as the original creator of this modification.


This modification cannot be uploaded or hosted to any other websites, forums, or otherwise without explicit permission of the original author, The Truth '92. You are free to modify this file for your own personal use without needing my permission.
